Prepare yourself for the most adorable and sexy couples’ session. Our last session on Day One of the Art of Boudoir workshop was pure sorcery. We knew we wanted to have two different couples’ sessions. For multiple reasons; but mostly, and most importantly because, WE LOVE COUPLES BOUDOIR. Couples boudoir provides a preview of what intimacy looks like behind closed doors. They are becoming less and less taboo and seriously in demand. SO OF COURSE we had to have couples at our workshop. Not only for the portfolio building for the attendees, but for the educational aspect. Learning what your couple is and isn’t comfortable doing – prompt wise. Allowing real emotions to shine through and capturing the full story behind the session.
When Vicky responded to the model call I jumped for joy. I knew exactly the style that her and fiancé Collin would be perfect for. A playful cooking session led up to some steamy grape eating, and ended with candlelit snuggles. We allotted almost three hours, honestly the remaining day light, to this session. Which I can say is exactly the amount of time I would have scheduled for any client boudoir session. It may seem intimidating to strip down and get frisky with several photographers looking on, but I have a feeling that these two left the shoot feeling more confident, more empowered and more connected to each other.
I couldn’t stop shooting these two. They were a dream to work with and I wish them nothing but a life full of happiness as they get ready to say their I Do’s in May!
