One of my favorite things about working with friends is getting to walk into their home after a wonderful session and see these memories hanging on their walls!
“From the first time you meet her, you feel comfortable. It’s like you’re meeting up with a close friend. There is no awkwardness and taking pictures with her is so much fun!”
I can’t put into words how romantic and sultry this session was. This adorably sexy couple have successfully proven (to the entire interwebs) that the fire doesn’t go out after marriage.
Our first model of the day was none other than the gorgeous and brilliant Nicole, also known as The Doctorette. I’ve worked with Nicole before (for this Hurricane Michael styled wedding) and knew that she – and those killer cheek bones, HAD to make an appearance at the workshop.
Knowing Jess on a personal level, I knew that she could totally pull off a funky, potentially grungy, rock and roll, badass vixen vibe. After all – that’s pretty much Jess in a nutshell. I sent her my inspiration and she took it to the next level. Her leather jacket and doc martins… those fish nets, and good lord her gorgeous red hair.
We wanted her session to be sultry yet natural. Playful and exotic. We stocked up on pampas grass (thanks to Colette’s neighbor) taped some branches around windows, and grabbed this gorgeous tribal rug out of Sarah’s home.
