“We originally came across Justyn’s work through our wedding venues’ social media! As soon as we saw her style, and edits we knew she was the one we wanted for our big day! Truth – Audrey was the very FIRST person I ever met in North Carolina. We met at a park in Wake Forest nine years ago this August. We were in the area house hunting and it happened to be my husbands birthday, so I snuck our then two year old out of the hotel room
There is so much back story to this session I’m not sure where to begin. I met Colette at a Galentines Vendor event in February 2019. Since then she has been my dedicated person. Knowing Jess on a personal level, I knew that she could totally pull off a funky, potentially grungy, rock and roll, badass vixen vibe. After all – that’s pretty much Jess in a nutshell. I sent her my inspiration and she took it to the next level. Her leather jacket and doc martins… those fish nets, and good lord her gorgeous red hair.
We wanted her session to be sultry yet natural. Playful and exotic. We stocked up on pampas grass (thanks to Colette’s neighbor) taped some branches around windows, and grabbed this gorgeous tribal rug out of Sarah’s home.
