Sara & Casey || Max Patch Engagement Photography

Justyn is a magic maker! If I said she was a good photographer that would definitely be an understatement. I told her what I had envisioned for my engagement session and boy did she come through. I have always felt awkward and uncomfortable in front of a camera but not with her. She took charge and I was able to fully trust her artistic style. She worked in a way that was fun, natural and seamless. Even with our tired toddler! I really can’t say enough good things. Our pictures are nothing short of perfect to us and she captured memories that will stay with us a lifetime. Justyn leaves you with a feeling that you just made a new friend who you want to sit around a fire, drinking beer and chatting about fly fishing and an assortment of other interesting things with. I did not feel like this was just another photo shoot for her. I could tell she took pride in her work and went out of her way to give us what we wanted. She even added some funk that put the icing on the cake! Justyn is amazing and we feel so blessed to work with her. I know that if our wedding falls apart (I mean it is 2020) we will still have some bad ass photos to remember the day! -Sara & Casey

“Although I deeply love oceans, deserts, and other wild landscapes, it is only mountains that beckon me with that sort of painful magnetic pull to walk deeper and deeper into their beauty.”

– Victoria Erikson

This session was magic from start to finish. Max Patch was the perfect backdrop and I can not wait to return to its beauty. If you have never been, I highly recommend it! Take the family and have a picnic. Enjoy the panoramic views of the blue ridge and smoky mountains.
