“You were in my daydream
My daydream I was wishing it come true
Whatever I imagine is gonna happen
So I’m dreaming ’bout you
I’m dreaming ’bout you”
Refusing to let COVID-19 steal their wedding date – Nick and Kala chose to have an intimate and heart-felt ceremony in Apex, North Carolina. The venue was a secluded neighborhood park, which was simply the most amazing setting. The honeysuckle was in full bloom providing sweet scents to accent the even sweeter vow exchange. With the help of coordinator and stylist Chelsy with The Gathering Co., the makeshift alter and post ceremony picnic were picture perfect. They exchanged vows right as the sun began to set, and live streamed the entire ceremony to their family and friends. The couple even shared a first dance to Daydream by Matthew Theissen before popping some champagne and celebrating with their two witnesses. Of course they are still planning a larger ceremony this fall, which I am so looking forward to capturing, but this adorably quaint elopement was in every sense of the word, flawless. As micro weddings and intimate elopements become ever more popular, this is definitely one to copy and Pin.
