Kendal & Quentin || Durham Portrait Photography

This downtown Durham Bride and Groom portrait session is a favorite for sure. Kendal and Quentin were to be wed last May at a beautiful North Carolina Mountain location but due to Covid, those plans were put on hold like so many other couples. They decided to elope, and held a private ceremony with their parents as witnesses, and unfortunately, no photographer to document the occasion.

I was so bummed that I had missed the opportunity to capture this moment for them and instead, we decided to shoot locally once case numbers had started to drop. I love that they now have these urban portraits to celebrate their nuptials, and can’t wait until THIS MAY to capture their “wedding” in the mountains – which do not fret friends, I will most definitely be sharing as well!

The couple prepped for their shoot in the most adorable downtown Airbnb loft (where we also shot a couples boudoir session before these portraits!) Before we took to the streets of Durham. Congratulations to this happy couple and I cannot wait until May to head to the mountains with you and do it all again!
