I am so very excited to share THIS session as my first for 2019. Amanda is my sister in law – and yes I said IN LAW, even though we are mistaken for full blooded sisters all the time. I couldn’t be happier that she and Code are finally tying the knot! We have been planning their engagement session for months but due to weather and a six hour drive between the two of us – we didn’t get a chance to shoot until the very end of December. And man was it a family affair – I carted the kiddos and the hubby up to Roanoke with me for a day trip. We met off of the blue ridge parkway – because in case you didn’t know, the majority of it is closed currently. Regardless – this stretch of the Roanoke River Parkway made for the perfect backdrop. I can not wait to be the one to capture their beautiful day in June! Congratulations to two of my favorite humans ever!
