Morgan & Grey || Boone Engagement Photography

So these two are adorable. I originally met them last winter on the Raleigh Pub Trolley – and bonded with them immediately. They weren’t engaged then, but it was soon to follow. Morgan is a good friend of my good friend Janice, so I knew we would work well together.  These love birds have been together since they were fifteen – which just pulls at all of my heart strings (having known my husband since we were eight). It was so sweet to hear their history and how they’ve grown together over the years. Even sweeter to shoot in the town where they were engaged and had spent so many special times together. We started our session at a trail near where they were staying, with their pup Bella, before adventuring to a cow pasture (also with a trail running through it) that overlooked the valley and Grand Father Mountain. We didn’t see any cows – unlike their proposal story in which they were chased off by cows – but that’s another story for another time. I can’t wait to work with them again next fall at their wedding in Wake Forest.
