Amanda & Drew || Raleigh Wedding Photography

Last Saturday I had the privilege of capturing this breathtaking wedding at St. Timothy’s episcopal church. Amanda and Drew,  these two beautiful souls, I can’t say enough good things about. Their love is so honest and pure it makes my heart explode with happiness. Not only that, they were amazing to work with, them and their gigantic wedding party – 19 plus 2, to be exact. They held the southern tradition of burying the bourbon, my first couple to do this, and in fact the rain held off until their sparkler exit. Their wedding day was perfection. Amanda in her low cut, lacy, long sleeve dress, bare-foot with flowers in her hair. And Drew, with his southern boy charm and smile. I melt. The ceremony was held at the beautiful St. Timothy’s and then the reception (nay I say party) was held at the historic Melrose Knitting Mill in downtown Raleigh. It oozed about as much southern charm as Drew and his buried bottle of bourbon, with it’s floating doors and exposed ivy ridden brick. They had a cookie cake to cut into and succulents as their thank you gift. I mean, how perfect?
