Whitney & Sean || Wake Forest Engagement Photography

A lot of my clients are referrals – which is pretty amazing that people like me enough to send their loved ones my way. This couple in particular is super special to me because Whitney is Casey’s sister. I’ve worked with Casey SO many times and absolutely adore her family, so meeting and working with her sister is kind of a dream come true. Then add in that Whitney is super easy going and gorgeous, and her fiance is a fun and energetic guy – this couple is right up my alley. I can’t wait to work with them again and capture their beautiful wedding next fall!

Nikki & Kyle || Raleigh Maternity Photography

I absolutely adore this couple and could not be happier for them to welcome their first born into the world in the spring! Nikki contacted me a few weeks ago wanting to do an announcement shoot for their holiday card – but by the time that the shoot rolled around she had already told most of the people she would be announcing to! I’m totally ok with this obviously because now I can share their beautiful session. This (extremely photogenic) couples excitement to be new parents made our session so much fun. Congratulations to Nikki & Kyle – I can’t wait to meet your sweet babe in a few short months!

The Kidd Family || Raleigh Family Photography

I don’t share enough family sessions on here. I have just decided. When I started my photography journey it was with families – and although I do shoot more couples and babes than anything else – I always have and always will enjoy working with families. This family in particular I had the honor of working with two weeks ago. We shot at Historic Oak View because they have a “cotton field”. The field I was dreaming of did not match what was there in real life – but it didn’t matter. This beautiful family could have made any location magical.

Nichole & Tony || Clayton Engagement Photography

This shoot was so much fun. When Nichole and I first started discussing their engagement session – they had wanted to spend the first hour shooting in the gym that her and Tony had met, and then another in a romantic field. After some events that were out of our control occurred, we ended up shooting at their friends Sean & Cori’s house around their fire pit, roasting s’mores and trading stories. We stopped in a field on the way out to roast s’mores because I couldn’t resist – and let me just say, this whole session was just perfection. I can’t wait to work with these two again next fall for their wedding day!

Lindsey & Cam || Raleigh Maternity Photography

Toward the end of the summer I hosted a maternity giveaway on instagram – Lindsey was the winner. I was so excited to work with her and hubby Cam. I had met Lindsey back in June at JC & Bobby’s wedding – and honestly had no idea that she was four months pregnant at the time. Her bump had definitely grown and she was absolutely adorable and glowing by the time I saw her again mid October. We shot by Falls Lake on a crisp fall evening, soaking up every minute of light that we could. Here are a few of my favorites from their session.
